Today, it is a blessed day celebrating the Solemnity of St. John Bosco. Thanks for Fr. Favie and Fr. Juvelan for their benevolence. It was my first time but a glorious one. Thank you Salesians community and God bless you all.

DBTI- TVET has equipped thousands of students from low income families to have education and competitive skills that they need for their employment. Charitable and Considerate.

not sure I enjoyed my time here, 1966 - 1977, elementary to HS grad, I experienced the Italians in-charge of the school, the grounds and buildings were well maintained. Education was normal.. The Italians gave the school 5 years of champion futbol teams, entire divisions 1971-1977 DBTI ruled, '77 candidates champion squad was the last of Italian trained team Then came Pilipino Salesians take-over. The quality of everything went downhill, Pinoys have low quality standards on maintenance of grounds (pwede na 'yan mentality), and futbol - forget it! compared to the Italians. Education, 15 of 1977 batch went on to UP Diliman, not sure the next generations . The glamor schools had more at UP Diliman... no matter where one goes to school it is up to the individual to improve their lot.

Don Bosco Makati is very accessible if you're coming from the south and within Makati area. Whether by car, jeepney, taxi you can get there and by bus or train too by walking. The school has spacious grounds and is pwd friendly. Has ample parking for vehicles. They have great football field, basketball court and spacious Savio dome. There are a lot of food choices inside the canteen area. It is also near Waltermart, Don Bosco Chapel and a lot of condominiums within the surrounding area. ☺💕👌

Run by the religious order Salesians of Don Bosco, it is very accessible by car or public transport since it is located at the corner of Arnaiz Blvd. (Pasay Rd.) and Chino Roces Ave. (Pasong Tamo). The Amorsolo Exit of Skyway is just a few yards away. It's walking distance to Makati's malls in Greenbelt and Glorietta is every teenager's dream. Very good facilities, new buildings and a full-sized football field and swimming pool right in the center of the busy city. Top-notch technical education guarantees a big advantage to its graduates when they enter college and beyond. Moderately expensive tuition but worth every cent paid for.

DBTI in the late 50's and early 60's was so much different. DBTI Makati started with just 5th & 6th grades. It was just a one-building one-story structure which had 2 classrooms (grade 5 & 6), a faculty room, principal's office, a shop for carpentry, a shop for electro-mechanics, a canteen and a separate chapel. The principal then was Fr. Basilio and the registrar was Fr. Xavier Fels. The Director of the School was Fr. Charles Braga. Merienda at the school was 10 centavos for a bowl of lugao or miswa. I was an entrant to the 2nd Philippine Soap Box Derby and my sponsor was JP Heilbron & Co. back in 1957. I was a boy scout then under Scoutmaster Brother Valentino Floris. I remember our troop hike to Don Bosco Mandaluyong and back. Camping in the school grounds, Nichols Air Base, etc. Everything we did then was fun. Everybody knew everybody. I remember some of my classmates then. There was Rolando Cabredo, Macario Vinas, Herminio Villaflor, Joselito Calixto, Cesar Cruz; and some of ouir teachers Mr. Basilio Rufino, Olimpio Lozano, Andres Seno, Mauro Gapuz.
